Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks with an option for a 24-week contract Shift: Day/Night rotating shift; 3x12-Hour rotations (7 pm-7:30 am / 7 am-7:30 pm) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certification required Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments- Permanent experience reference required from the past 12 months- Travel reference required from the most recent assignment, if applicable Job Description: - Work in a prestigious hospital's Med/Surg Telemetry department- Ability to rotate shifts every two weeks continuously- Complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores- Commitment to work at least every other holiday- Badging and fingerprinting required prior to start date- Attend 20 hours of orientation- Comply with facility's non-nicotine temporary exemption policy for certain travelers- Must complete a 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, within 12 months of start- Open background check cases will not be accepted, license hits are not accepted- Ensure all certifications are active with nothing pending prior to submission Additional Information: - Traveler will need to have fingerprinting and badging completed prior to the start date. - Medical or religious exemptions for specific requirements may be considered.
