Salary Grade: Hourly Grade 15 | H-15

Position Summary: Works directly under district Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the
supervision and instruction of students in a variety of school settings. Assists in the
development, implementation and monitoring of Individualized Behavior Plans or Behavior
Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students identified with behavioral needs. Attends student progress meetings. Adequate physical strength and mobility are required to implement strategies for de- escalation and emergency intervention.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
• One year working experience with children with disabilities preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
• CPR and First Aid training and re-certification as required
• Certification in district-approved relationship-building and de-escalation strategies
• Maintain RBT credentials and adhere to strict supervision requirements outline by the
BACB
• Completion of training and exam passed for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Certification with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Adequate physical strength and mobility are required to implement strategies for de-
escalation and emergency intervention
