Summary of the position: The SAP SD Lead Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module to ensure that it effectively supports the organization's sales, distribution, and customer service processes. This role involves leading the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP SD functionalities, as well as providing expert-level support and training to users. The SAP SD Lead Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and IT, to drive continuous improvements and ensure the effective integration of the SAP SD module with other business systems. Duties and responsibilities: SAP SD Management: Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP SD module. Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and patches within the SAP SD environment. Ensure the SAP SD module aligns with the organization's sales and distribution processes and overall business strategy. System Integration and Configuration: Configure key SAP SD components, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management. Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, WM) to ensure smooth data flow and process execution across the organization. Customize SAP SD solutions to meet specific business requirements and optimize system performance. Business Process Optimization: Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the sales and distribution functions. Develop and implement best practices for order-to-cash (OTC) processes using SAP SD. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements. Project Leadership: Lead SAP SD-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions that meet business needs. Support and Training: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP-SD related issues. Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to enhance their proficiency in SAP-SD functionalities. Ensure thorough documentation of SAP SD processes, configurations, and changes made to the system. Reporting and Compliance: Generate and maintain accurate sales and distribution reports using SAP SD tools. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements within the SAP SD module. Maintain data accuracy and integrity in all sales and distribution-related transactions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. SAP SD certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years of experience working with SAP SD, including full life-cycle implementation experience. Proven expertise in SAP SD configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules. Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes, including order-to-cash (OTC), pricing, billing, and logistics. Experience in leading SAP projects and working with cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori apps related to SAP SD. Knowledge of SAP integration with CRM, EDI, and other third-party systems. Familiarity with global trade processes and compliance requirements. Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
