This position develops new applications for the issLink software system (currently Sunapsis); maintains current processes in the issLink system; maintains accurate documentation including immigration documents; supports the student and scholar advising staff; updates data/alerts in isslink; and contributes to the Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) duties as assigned, which may include verification stamping, document verification, inspection of immigration documents, limited student and scholar advising. The ISS Link Systems Administrator manages issLink to fulfill the institutional reporting and record keeping requirements of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Furthermore, the ISS Link Systems Administrator creates efficiencies in the services to non-immigrant students and employees at the University of Arkansas. This position supports the mission and goals of the office, Graduate School and International Education, and the University of Arkansas.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:Formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a related field and at least two years of experience in programming and/or system analysis

ORCompletion of technical training in software, data processing, or a related field acquired from a vocational, military, or industrial setting plus at least four years of experience in computer programming and/or system analysis including one year in a leadership capacity

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications.Individuals hired into this position must be able to show United States citizenship or United States permanent resident status, per federal regulation.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with database management including Microsoft SQL and Cold Fusion

Experience with electronic record management or CRM such as Sunapsis

Experience in international education and intercultural/international experience

Customer service experience such as interacting with students or customers with courtesy and helpfulness both face-to-face and virtually

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to collaborate and communicate professionally and clearly with technical and non-technical personnel

Ability to think abstractly about concrete problems and provide robust, practical solutions

Ability to manage, document, and deliver projects as scoped
