Our client, a leading biotechnology research firm is seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to support their CEO. This is a hybrid contract role in Redwood City, CA looking for a rock star to go full-time with. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for the biotechnology field. If you have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, we encourage you to apply!**Please note this is a temp-to-perm role in Redwood City, pay will $130-140k**Key Responsibilities:Manage the CEOs calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.Prepare and organize materials for meetings, including agendas and presentations.Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.Facilitate communication and ensure timely responses to inquiries.Represent the CEO in meetings when necessary, taking notes and providing follow-up.Assist in the coordination and tracking of special projects and initiatives.Help prioritize tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of objectives.Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Organize and coordinate company events, board meetings, and retreats.Support logistics for conferences and industry events.Requirements:Bachelors degree preferred3+ years of experience as an executive assistant, preferably in a biotechnology or scientific research environment.C-level experience is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.High level of professionalism and integrity.Interest in biotechnology and an understanding of industry terminology is a plus.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
