Solid mentorship and future growth potentialJob DetailsWe are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our client in Centennial, CO and work fully in-office.
This position is direct hire.Responsibilities • Maintain the multi-currency general ledger by reconciling accounts and create adjusting journal entries as necessary to comply with GAAP and tax standards.
• Analyze journal entries before generating financial statements.
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information.
• Follow and develop procedures aligned with financial standards and regulations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and assign depreciation methods and useful lives for federal tax purposes.
• Create journal entries to record semimonthly payroll.
• Processing accounts payable and completing credit card reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Respond to information requests and generate financial reports as requested by leadership.
• Complete other accounting-related tasks as needed. Qualifications • Obtained or in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 0-2 years of relatable experience • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office products, including Excel. • Strong understanding of GAAP and various tax principles. • Ability to exercise sound judgement and take initiative to resolve issues that may arise. • Proficiency in accounting software; this may include QuickBooks, Sage, etc. • Possesses keen analytical skills and high attention to detail. • Ability to embrace change and be flexible to changing business needs.Interested in hearing more?
