The System Administrators role is to configure, maintain, and monitor applications and systems to ensure a high level of availability of the supported network environment. This position is critical to ensuring systems are running to keep our manufacturing and support team members productive. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Location: Cincinnati (West Chester) Responsibilities include: Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and networks by following best practices IT planning, development, implementation, and maintenance processes Manage all aspects of the infrastructure: servers, networking, PCs, telecom services and cell services to ensure uptime during operating hours Administer disaster recovery procedures and backup jobs, including periodic testing to validate backups experience with Datto is a plus Manage Hyper-V virtual servers and storage technologies - experience with Storage Spaces Direct is a plus Keep servers updated with current firmware and patches Install, configure, upgrade, and support Windows, Mac OSX, Office365, Meraki, AWS and Linux hardware Provide level 2 end-user computer hardware and software support to local and remote users provide backup level 1 support as volume and schedules require Assist in the implementation of new technologies in assigned projects Keep systems, backup and restore procedure documentation current Manage work assignments & priorities of 2 help desk specialists Required Experience: Experience working as a Systems Administrator at a mid-sized company Windows Systems experience using server monitoring and reporting tools such as switches, routers, firewalls, spam filters, VLANs, Windows 2016 or later, Hyper-V, backup/ system recovery, Active Directory etc. Amazon Web Services experience using EC2, RDS databases and microservices Bachelors degree in computer science, Management information Systems, or related degree is preferred
