The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Student Systems Administrator Assistant to work on advanced projects with System Administrators. This may include creating accounts, solution inventory and documentation, installing and configuring Microsoft, MacOS, Jamf, Linux, and other industry-standard software and hardware, and helping with conference room setup.
Required Qualifications:Must be a USU, BATC, or WGU student pursuing a degree in computer science, business, or arelated fieldMust have a minimum of one year remaining in schoolExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicReliable and detail-orientedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience troubleshooting computer hardware and softwareMust be able to work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours over four days per week during the school year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer monthsMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Security+ certificationExperience helping customers solve complex problemsExperience with workstation and server hardware and softwareExperience with MacOS and JamfProgramming experience (i.e., Python, SQL)
