TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK is looking for skilled
Welders
for our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. A TIG Welder will be experienced in stainless steel and aluminum, as well as MIG welding processes and various grinding tools.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret welding blueprints, technical schematics, and codesUse gas tungsten arc equipment as part of the fabrication processMeasure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipersCarry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal partsOversee the set-up of TIG welding equipmentOperate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapersMaintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titaniumCarry out preventative maintenance and repair of piping systems and metal structuresEnsure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirementsEnsure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulationsOther duties as assignedAfternoon shift works 3pm to 11:30 pm Monday to Friday and/or some weekend shifts available too
Shift work receives an additional, hourly shift differential
Requirements
2+ years experience with TIG and/or exotic metalsHigh school diploma or GED certificateCompletion of technical training or apprenticeshipKnowledge of both TIG and MIG welding preferredAerospace/Aviation experience a plusWelding certification preferredMust have strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of each weld and the safety of the workplaceMust be able to pass TAT Limco welding test to receive job offerMust have ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Must be able to pass pre-hire background check screening
