TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK is looking Fin Machine Operators for our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) operations.
Responsibilities:
Fin Machine Operator is responsible to run machinery to produce daily customer orders on designated product lines.
Perform the operation of machines on designated product lines according to the production scheduleMaintain and clean machines before and after each shiftMonitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum runningPerform basic troubleshooting of problems during machine operationEnsure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observedEnsure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on outputCreate and maintain activity/job logs as requiredRecord all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or production related information as requiredMeet specified production performance targetsParticipate in production process improvement effortsOther tasks as assignedRequirements
Solid verbal and written communication skillsExcellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detailExperience working with machine tools or mechanical assemblyAbility to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurementsAbility to read blueprints and manuals. Knowledge of GD&T preferredBasic mathematical skillsPhysical stamina and strength to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of timeCritical "Cause and Effect" analytical abilities. (i.e., If I do this, that will happen)Working knowledge of shop safety protocolsExperience with Robinson and/or Voss fin machines preferredAbility to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Ability to pass pre-hire background check screening
