TAT Limco on Tulsa, OK has an opening for a CNV+C Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and running CNC equipment to machine or fabricate a variety of precision parts and components to specifications by following drawings, work instructions and in-process inspection requirements. This position will set up and operate all types of machines: Grinders, Lathes, Mills, and related equipment in the manufacture, rework, and repair of aircraft parts and components.
Requirements
Operate various CNC equipment such as CNC lathes, milling and drilling machines, etc. to machine or fabricate components for final assemblySet up, adjust, and operate machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operationsMount, align and secure work holding, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machinesLoad parts and cycle machine to ensure optimal efficiency and conformanceMeasure and inspect part features per drawing to ensure conformance and detect defects using precision instruments using basic gaging and inspection tools (i.e. Dial Calipers, Gage Pins, Micrometers)Record information or data describing work performed or defects foundComplete assigned work within given timeframe efficiently and according to specifications and complete all documentationFollow all safety policies and procedures, including required PPE for the respective job being performedAdditional duties as assignedRequirements
High School education or equivalentMachining / Manufacturing experience required and Aerospace experience a plus10 years experience programming and running multi-axis (4 point) CNC machines desiredDisplays good judgement - quality & safety. Ability to learn and apply new skills. Responsible for both the success of the individual and the teamMaintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionWorking knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerancesMaintain established standards of quality, productivity & attendanceMust follow all safety rules and regulationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
