Director, Oligo-Bioconjugate Delivery - Permanent - Boston, MAProclinical is seeking a Director of Oligo-Bioconjugate Delivery to lead a cross-functional group focused on advancing tissue-targeted biotherapeutics, particularly oligonucleotide conjugates. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a strategy for therapeutic development and contribute to a growing pipeline.Primary Responsibilities:Lead the development and optimization of oligonucleotides and linker/conjugation chemistries for tissue-targeted delivery.Develop and implement strategies to support the engineering, production, and characterization of oligonucleotide bioconjugates.Design and build lab space to meet the needs of the Oligonucleotide Chemistry & Bioconjugation group.Recruit and mentor a team of scientists to discover and develop candidate bioconjugates.Contribute to the growth of the non-viral pipeline by achieving platform and program goals.Establish a network of external partners, including academic institutions and CROs, to enhance capabilities.Stay updated on technological advancements in the oligonucleotide/ADC space.Develop and manage timelines, resources, and operating budgets.Skills & Requirements:Expertise in biochemistry, protein engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and growing cross-functional teams.Deep knowledge of conjugation and oligonucleotide chemistries, and analytical characterization techniques.Success in the discovery, characterization, and development of bioconjugation-based therapeutics.Experience managing CROs for the production and characterization of bioconjugates.Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Excellent oral and written communication skills.If you have any questions, please contact
