OverviewResponsibilities
Physician for Business Health Services (Occupational Medicine)Monday - Friday (Dayshift)Patient Care.
The Provider’s patient care activities shall consist of providing physician's services to individual patients in the context of the business health services protocols.
The Provider will work directly under the Medical Director of Business Health Services.
Physician services shall be provided at the offices located at 301 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 and at such other location(s) as may be agreed to by the Employer and Provider from time to time.Services:
Perform history and physical exam on urgent and non-urgent Business Health patients.
Specific focus will be given to the chief complaint, mechanism of injury, ability to perform specific functions of the job and developing an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan.
Demonstrate proficiency and efficiency in suturing, wound care and splinting. Participate in the administrative on call schedule giving appropriate advice to after hours staff via telephone conversation. Other duties as assigned.Accountability.
The Provider shall be directly accountable to and shall report to the Medical Director of Business Health Services.
The Provider shall comply with all professional requests of the Employer.
Qualifications
Qualifications.
Certified in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care Service preferred but not required.
At all times, the Doctor shall be qualified and duly licensed and registered to practice medicine in Maryland, and shall meet the current Mercy Medical Staff requirements regarding federal DEA and Maryland CDS numbers.
The Doctor must maintain clinical privileges at Mercy Medical Center and appointment to the Mercy Medical Staff
