Information Security Representative Requisition ID 2024-13539 Location US-CT-Stonington Seat Location EB Eagle Park Site Trade Security and Transportation Shift 1st Security Clearance Required Secret Number of Openings 2 Overview The International Programs Security Office (IPSO) has an immediate need for a highly motivated individual to be a member of EBC's security team. The successful candidate will serve as an Information Security Professional interfacing with various departments throughout Electric Boat Corporation, US Department of Defense, and International customers. This position reports to the Chief of Security - International Programs This positon would be responsible for providing dedicated security support to Electric Boat Corporation's (EBC)International Programs. This position would provide security guidance and oversight to International program offices at the Groton/New London facilities, Quonset Point, and EBC field offices in foreign countries. The successful candidate will ensure company compliance with international security requirements. The Information Security Professional - International Programs will be responsible for supporting all aspects of security compliance oversight. These aspects may include: application of the DoD National industrial Security Program (NISP),US Government contract security requirements, company security policies and procedures, and other government guidance sources. As part of the IPSO team, the individual will participate in administrative inquires, investigations, policy generation, security audits and the implementation of corrective actions for identified deficiencies. The individual will be required to interact with DoD and other government agencies regarding the protection of controlled unclassified and classified information. The individual must be comfortable briefing all levels of management on classification issues and classification requirements for sensitive technologies and processes. Must exercise sound judgement, work independently and maintain confidentiality. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Participates in the development of policy and procedure, in coordination with EB Legal and individual program offices, to support Electric Boat's Export/Import (EXIM) program Directly supports USG foreign military sales programs at the contractor level Classification management: Maintain, interpret, and enforce classification management requirements and program directives Document accountability: Document marking procedures, reproduction and dissemination Administer security education and awareness training Conduct self-inspections and participate in Foreign Program annual self-assessments Provide guidance to ensure compliance with the NISPOM, the EB Security Manual, and other applicable guidance sources Conduct investigations into incidents involving the improper handling of controlled information, including inquiries into deviations from EB EXIM policy Generate and provide written incident reports to the Chief of Security, FSO, EB Legal Empowered Officials, and government agencies Conduct root cause analysis and determine corrective actions for security incidents Provide direction to individuals and departments involved in security incidents Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Formal security training conducted by a US federal agency, military branch, or professional security organization such as DCSA, NSA, DSCA, or NCMS Experience working with the Foreign National Visit System (FNVS); including receiving, educating, and administering foreign national visitors Experience working with an automated access control system and adjudicating requests for access Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with domestic and foreign oversight entities Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance Preferred: Experience conducting complex investigative matters Experience working within a compliance program based on the NISPOM, the EB Security Manual, EB EXIM Policy, and other applicable guidance sources Working knowledge of DCSA's Risk Management Framework (RMF) Experience administering security education and awareness training and conducting self-inspections Experience working with the Exporting Arms Regulation (EAR) and International Trafficking in Arms Regulation (ITAR) Skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Ability to work in a team environment and independently Strong interpersonal, reporting and documentation skills Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with domestic and foreign oversight entities Environmental Attributes Inside Join our talent pools, get job alerts, and see EB news We can recommend jobs specifically for you Click here to get started.
