Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the RANGES TRGTS OPS INSTRMTN AND LABS GROUP, MOBILE & INTEGRATED THREAT DIVISION, THREAT SYS OPS & SUPPORT BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will assist in updating the cybersecurity compliance baseline for the Link Inject to Live (LITL) system. You will build and maintain accurate Risk Management Framework packages and ensure cybersecurity assessments and authorizations occur on schedule throughout each fiscal year. You will meet with organizational leadership, collect requirements, establish cybersecurity schedules, and ensure cybersecurity activities are completed in accordance DoD, DON, NAVAIR, and NAWCWD cybersecurity requirements. You will assist in the development of cost proposals, including estimating project costs, characterizing requirements, and defining project schedules for the cybersecurity work integrated into specific projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications DS-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Establishing Risk Management Framework compliance processes and procedures; 2) Maintaining cybersecurity programs, including cybersecurity architecture, network security methodologies, and cybersecurity personnel; 3) Gathering and evaluating data to ensure software systems meet compliance standards. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. DS-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: DS-04: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or 3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree DS-03: master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
