UTA seeks a skilled Senior Brand Strategist who is driven by creativity and is passionate about delivering strategic solutions to brand clients. You will be a key member of the new group launched in 2023 - UTA Roll Call - managing the development of branded content partnership strategies for brands across the digital creator landscape. This role will join UTA’s Creators division which represents world class Digital, Audio, and Gaming talent. With the ability to form partnerships with top talent and Global brands, UTA is at the forefront of the creator economy.
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Lead the ideation and development process for inbound RFPs from brand direct and media agency clients, adjusting strategy to fit campaign goals and media KPIs.
Support development of bespoke strategy around key business pillars for Roll Call including creator media upfront proposals as well as AOR pitches.
Lead the pre-sales ideation process in response to RFPs for assigned accounts, communicating the Roll Call product offering effectively to potential brand partners.
Proposal development responsibilities include:
Organizing and facilitating brainstorming sessions to identify key strategic frameworks as well as creative concepts for branded content, talent identification, and budget allocation.
Ideating and expanding upon unique creative concepts and thought-starters aligned with brand briefs as well as creator target content archetypes.
Assigning action items across team members and stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are completed for on-time submission.
Leading talent ideation and discovery processes including data-driven talent research and anecdotal talent identification via internal talent teams and third party discovery tools aimed at surfacing relevant creator recommendations that align with tactical and performance needs of campaigns.
Developing content plans across multiple social platforms, appropriately allocating budgets amongst proposal targets, including content and creator pricing informed by industry standards as well as Roll Call best practices.
Aiding in client presentations of proposal materials to expand upon Roll Call’s services and our strategies as it relates to their campaign goals.
Ensure marketing materials are of the highest quality across proposal decks, media plans, one-sheets, and case studies in collaboration with partners.
Serve as key point of contact with external vendors that support brand strategy solutions including paid media support, content production, offline event opportunity development, and more as necessary to support Roll Call’s clients.
Join partner calls to support the team in exploring partnership opportunities with key accounts to best understand client needs, KPIs, and objectives.
Support the Brand Strategy team and leadership in creating go-to-market materials as the Roll Call offering evolves and expands, leveraging insights from Roll Call campaigns as well as market research to best position offerings.
Monitor relevant industry trends and developments to ensure materials and proposals are supported by up-to-date information and insights.
Partner with cross-functional UTA teams, like UTA IQ, to leverage proprietary industry research to plan full funnel marketing campaigns.
Aid in the development of proactive solutions for prospective brand clients as needed in partnership with the Sales and Account Management teams.
Maintain visibility throughout the post-sale cycle to understand evolving market needs, best practices, and challenges facing the operation to best optimize proposal strategy.
Support the Sales and Account Management teams during the final campaign reporting stage to develop strategic insights, recommendations, and post-campaign analysis.
Maintain knowledge of Social, Video, and Streaming platform tech offerings/capabilities and understand how to effectively utilize these tools for brand partners.
What You Will Need
5+ years of branded content and/or creator marketing strategy experience.
Experience building creator content strategies for brand direct and media agency partners/buyers.
Familiarity with digital content creators and their respective social platforms.
Experience in or knowledge about multiple content genres is a plus.
Successful track record of creating best-in-class marketing campaigns against diverse audience segments.
Capable of clearly defining strategy for content marketing campaigns in writing and visually via PowerPoint and Media Plan formats.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and comfort working on large project-based teams.
Ability to ideate creative strategies and leverage campaign/industry insights to inform proposals that will drive key, measurable results.
