A. Educational:
1. Master's Degree preferred
2. Valid Pennsylvania certification as required by the Department of Education
3. Five years of successful teaching experience
4. Strong behavioral and classroom management background
B. Physical:
1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Possesses sufficient dexterity and is capable of using a keyboard
3. Has physical mobility necessary to perform assigned duties.

IV. Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists principal and assistant principal in the overall administration of the school.
- Performs as a resource for teachers and staff who express concerns for student attendance, student development and/or discipline;
- Coordinates efforts with guidance, police liaison officer(s);
- and Consults with families via conference or communication systems concerning student attendance behavior;
- Resolves student behavior concerns in a fair and timely manner and maintains records of disciplinary or referral actions taken;
- Closely monitors the physical plant of the school and grounds and follows-up on student vandalism;
- Assists in developing and administering practices dealing with campus control and security;
- Maintains active relationships with parents, families and students;
- Assists in developing and administering practices dealing with campus control and security;
- Performs other tasks and assumes responsibilities within the overall scope of the position which the principal may assign.
