MDMS/Energy IP Application Support Lead
Location - 100% Remote CST
Role Description
: Level needed would be equivalent to L8-L7, though would consider L6 provided they are the right fit and willing to be hands on. Role does require extensive weekend support.
Extensive experience in MDM, particularly with Siemens EnergyIP, and possess a blend of technical, functional, and troubleshooting skills to effectively manage meter data and support billing processes.
Experience in Meter Data Management (MDM): The candidate should have good years of experience in MDMS. Specifically, they should be well-versed in Siemens EnergyIP, which is a widely used MDM solution for managing smart meters and networks across electric, water, gas, and heat utilities. EnergyIP MDMS Software Implementation and Support:
The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting EnergyIP MDMS software. This involves configuring and maintaining the EnergyIP system to ensure efficient data management and accurate billing. Functional and Technical Aspects of MDMS Software:
A solid understanding of both functional and technical aspects of the MDMS software is essential. This includes knowing how to configure, customize, and troubleshoot the system to meet business requirements. MDMS Integrations:
The candidate should be familiar with different MDMS integration systems, such as CIS-SAP (Customer Information System - SAP) and HES (Head-End System). Integrating MDM data with other systems is crucial for seamless operations and data flow. Troubleshooting Skills:
Experience in troubleshooting meter synchronization and billing issues is valuable. Identifying and resolving issues related to data synchronization and billing accuracy are critical tasks. Meter-to-Cash Implementation Projects:
The candidate should have participated/supported in Meter-to-Cash (M2C) implementation projects. M2C involves the entire process from meter data collection to billing and revenue realization. Database Knowledge:
A good understanding of PL-SQL (Procedural Language - Structured Query Language) and Oracle database concepts is beneficial. These skills are relevant for querying and managing data within the EnergyIP system.
