This role will be crucial in handling our company's tax operations and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our tax planning and compliance with a focus on optimizing the company's financial performance. Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns including corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.2. Conduct detailed tax planning and research to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance.3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.4. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and tax compliance.5. Manage audits by tax authorities and provide support during litigation involving tax matters.6. Ensure the company's tax policies are in line with updated laws and regulations.7. Advise management and partners on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities and on the potential for tax planning opportunities.8. Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Qualifications:1. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.4. Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.5. Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.7. Strong leadership and team management skills.8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.10.
