As an integral part of our firm, you will have the opportunity to work on complex estate planning and trust administration cases, providing comprehensive advice to high net worth individuals and families. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and who is passionate about providing exceptional legal services to our clients.Responsibilities:As a Senior Trusts and Estates Associate, your key responsibilities will include:1. Advising clients on a wide range of estate planning matters, including individual tax planning, charitable planning, and tax-efficient wealth transfers.2. Drafting and reviewing complex estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.3. Assisting clients with trust administration and probate matters, including the preparation and filing of necessary court documents.4. Developing and implementing comprehensive business succession and succession planning strategies for family businesses and closely held entities.5. Collaborating with tax professionals to ensure the tax-efficient structuring of estate plans and wealth transfers.6. Providing ongoing legal counsel and support to clients on matters related to trusts and estates.7. Staying updated on the latest developments in trusts and estates law and incorporating these changes into client strategies.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Senior Trusts and Estates Associate position should possess the following qualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top accredited law school.2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in trusts and estates law, with a focus on complex estate planning and trust administration.3. In-depth knowledge of individual tax planning, charitable planning, estate planning, tax-efficient wealth transfers, complex estate planning, financial documents, business succession, succession planning, wills, probate, estate, and trust.4. Exceptional analytical, research, and drafting skills.5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.7. Admission to, and a member in good standing of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar.
