IT Desktop Support Analyst Job PurposeWe are looking for an IT Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical assistance to our internal employees. You'll work closely with our team members to ensure their technology needs are met.
We are seeking a collaborative and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for assisting colleagues with projects and initiatives. Your strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to innovative solutions will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and supporting the productivity of our internal users.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve user-reported computer and software issues.Assist staff via phone, email, and in-person support.Install and configure new software and hardware on user desktops.Maintain accurate records of service requests and solutions.Manage user accounts and enforce security protocols.Perform regular maintenance tasks on desktop systems.Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.Qualifications
Minimum 3 year of experience in a technical support role.Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Linux experience a plus!).Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.A+ or equivalent certification preferred.Ability to travel between Austin and San Antonio offices
