Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting software programs. The programs include but are not limited to; Fleetboss Global Position System (GPS), Asset Management using Geographic Information System (GIS), Lift Station Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Work Orders System Software, KRONOS time keeping software, and Potable Water Leak Detection. Work involves analysis of gathered data and providing the Superintendent of the necessary reports. Liaison with the City's ITS Department as needed for effective execution of software functions. Work is performed with limited direction and considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City's policies and applicable laws if applicable. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Responsibilities and Reporting During an Emergency Situation :

Essential Employees

may be required to work during a declared emergency. Depending on the nature of the emergency, this may require working around the clock for several days on short notice.

Non Essential Employees

will not be required to work during a declared emergency. The employee's Department Head will determine when the employee will be required to work.

Duties/Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and other written reports as needed to management.Operates a vehicle when travel is required to perform assigned tasks.This position requires regular and reliable attendance and the employee's physical presence at the workplace.Will be required to work in on-call status during assigned periods.Perform related duties as assigned.Monitor City owned vehicles with the Company-wide FLEETBOSS GPS tracking system.Support the field personnel regarding dispatch to any alarms and notifications.Maintain driver qualification files.Coordinate with Engineering Division GIS Technician to locate and update City assets in the GIS.Monitor and maintain SCADA system using Data Flow software.Monitor yard security video camera system with CCTV software.Monitor work order database entries for accuracy, completeness, and timely turnaround on complaints from external/internal customers with Lucity/GBA software.Monitor traffic sign software.Monitor daily employee time entry with KRONOS software.Monitor water distribution system remote sensing devices such as leak detection, pressure monitor, and flow monitor.Monitor Network for performance and make recommendations for improvement.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or closely related field which emphasizes computer software/hardware; or equivalent experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions may be substituted for the Associates' degree.Two years of experience working as a System Analyst or related workA valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
