Junior Accountant!

Our client, a reputable home healthcare company in Agawam, MA, is looking for a Junior Accountant to support their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build their accounting skills in a meaningful industry, where your contributions directly impact the quality of care provided to patients.

What you'll do as a Junior Accountant:

Reconcile five bank accounts regularly.
Generate weekly and monthly reports in QuickBooks for financial tracking.
Record payroll entries handled by a third-party provider.
Provide assistance with month-end financial processes.
Enter and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.

What we are looking for in a Junior Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Basic accounting knowledge (debits vs. credits)
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software - ideally QuickBooks
Effective communication and teamwork.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
