Requested Skill Set: Must have Medical ICU experience in a large facility, comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.Must be a critical thinker, flexible and works well with others.Advanced skills needed: ventilator management, critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors, etc), advanced hemodynamic monitoring, central line management.Procedures performed on unit: assist providers with any bedside procedures as needed i.e, chest tube insertion, intubations, etc.Schedule Information
Scheduling requirements: 12 hr shifts, every other weekend requirement, holiday support.On Call Requirements: NoUnit Specific Information
Unit Name: D3-ANumber of Beds: 10 ICU/PCU OverflowPatient Ratios: 2:1 ICU, 4-5: 1 PCUUnit staffing description: see above ratios, charge nurse out of staffing, no unit secretaries or PCTs.Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RNNight Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RNType of equipment: Lift equipment, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), ventilators, IV pumps, etc.Documentation system: CernerAdditional Details
