Focus Family Care are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, including speech therapy and early intervention techniques.- Provide speech and language therapy to patients, using a variety of techniques and strategies to address specific needs.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure effective patient care and support.- Utilize medical terminology and anatomical knowledge to diagnose and treat complex disorders.- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.- Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to continually improve patient outcomes.
Experience
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology(Speech Terapist)- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.- Experience working with patients in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and clinics.- Strong understanding of pediatric and adult communication disorders, including developmental delays and acquired conditions.- Familiarity with early intervention and school-based speech therapy approaches.- Proven ability to assess and treat patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
Skills
- Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and methodologies.- Excellent patient care and communication skills.- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and language disorders.- Experience with early intervention and school-based speech therapy approaches.- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to apply anatomical knowledge to patient assessment and treatment.- Effective patient assessment skills, including the ability to identify and address a range of communication and swallowing disorders.- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure effective patient care and support.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
