Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Human Resource Specialist that will support the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) with the provisioning of HR expertise, guidance and support to program staff, leadership and management. The successful candidate will provide support on all areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and training.HIRING SALARY RANGE:
$80,000 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) For more detailed information on our Benefits and what it is like to work for Amentum: please visit our careers site: www.amentumcareers.comHuman Resource Specialist Responsibilities Include:Providing HR support to PEO IWS in line with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Serving as the primary HR point of contact for program staff and leadership.Managing the recruitment and selection process for assigned positions, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including interpretation of policies and procedures, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.Providing guidance and support on performance management processes and assist in the development of individual development plans.Managing compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, performance bonus, and benefits administration.Assisting with the design, development and delivery of HR-related training programs.Participating in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborating with other HR team members on various projects and initiatives as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in related field.10+ years of related professional experience.In lieu of degree, High School Degree and 16 years of related professional experience.Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.Ability to work independently and with a team, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of federal human resources regulations, policies, and procedures.Experience with workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
