Position Summary
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) invites applications for the position of Executive Director of Undergraduate Admission. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Enrollment management, the Executive Director is responsible for the strategic oversight of recruitment, admission, and enrollment of all new undergraduates, both first-year and transfer, to UCLA. The Executive Director leads UCLA's efforts to attract a diverse pool of applicants each year. The successful candidate will bring significant admission background and experience and will demonstrate values that align with those of UCLA, including a commitment to access, equity, and inclusive excellence.
Salary & Compensation
*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Visit

Qualifications
10 years of experience in progressively responsible positions leading and managing undergraduate admissions at a large institution (Required)Detailed knowledge of University-level undergraduate admission and enrollment management strategies (Required)Demonstrated ability to effectively manage an admissions office of a large educational institution (Required)Ability to see the "big picture," recognize new possibilities, and solve complex problems (Required)Ability to lead and implement organizational strategic planning (Required)Ability to implement services and programs efficiently and evaluate these efforts (Required)Ability to analyze complex situations and work creatively (Required)Ability to synthesize information quickly and work effectively under pressure (Required)Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations (Required)Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to define timelines and actions (Required)Working knowledge of admissions-related information management systems (Required)Supervisory and leadership skills to direct a large professional staff (Required)Demonstrated ability to plan and manage fiscal resources (Required)Outstanding oral/written communication skills (Required)Demonstrate a strong commitment to the values of the University (Required)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)An advanced or other terminal, professional degree (Preferred)
