We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Temporary, Production Control Expeditor to join our dynamic team in Tempe, AZ!We are looking for someone with an exceptional ability to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within the manufacturing department and engineering labs according to production schedules. Duties include working with production planners to determine factory schedules, establish work priorities, manage material that requires outside processing, and coordinate with department supervisors and leads to determine progress of work and completion dates. Reports on progress of work in process, rework/repair orders, and production problems. Some planning may be required to assist production planners.The day-to-day
Stock transfer request and delivery to requestorAuditing kits before delivering to the labsCreating ship requests for outside processing and customer deliverablesStatus update for material shortages on the floorMonthly chemical inventory control and life limited material controlOther duties and responsibilities as needed.What you'll need
2+ years of production control, planning experience, or manufacturing experience.An understanding of materials management/handling.Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.Ability to interact with internal customers from different departments.Personally accountable for responsibilities and deadlines.Ability to lift 25 pounds and sit, stand and walk around for long periods of time.High School Diploma or GED.US Government Position. US Citizenship required.What will help you on the job
Some experience working with high tech electronic products and ESD sensitive materials.An understanding of MRP, planning principles and related reporting tools.Associates Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.Experience working with Solumina and Oracle ERP system.
Salary range
$17.31 - $24.62 / hourly.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $21.49 - $28.99/ hourly
