We are seeking a Business Application Engineer with a strong commitment to user success to join our cutting-edge 3-nanometer fab in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. Role within IT at TSMC Arizona: Our IT department is dedicated to ensuring user success, maintaining infrastructure, and overseeing local applications. Job Description: As a Business Application Engineer, your core responsibilities will be: Communicating with users and Product Manager to verify the business need and propose solutions. Developing advanced code to improve operational efficiency and elevate user success. Building and nurturing relationships with all system stakeholders, prioritizing user needs and feedback. Analyzing and improving software architecture for system scalability and user satisfaction. Managing, and monitoring systems to ensure optimal user experience and service health. Diligently reporting and tracking software release issues with a focus on user impact. Eagerly learning new IT technologies and integrating open source or SaaS solutions to benefit users. Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess the following: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, JAVA, Python, JavaScript, or ABAP/4. Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and practices such as UP, XP, DevOps, CI, CD, DDD, and TDD. A strong foundation in OOP, design principles, and patterns. Comfort with tools for tracing, debugging, source control, profiling, and unit test coverage. Experience managing container-based workloads with Kubernetes or similar orchestration software. Familiarity with Scrum or DevOps practices, and domain knowledge in ERP, SCM, CRM, and HR are pluses.
