Corporate Paralegal

We are currently seeking a Corporate Paralegal for a position with a law firm in downtown Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
In this role, the paralegal will be supporting attorneys that have experience with a broad range of transactional and governance matters such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, publicly and privately traded securities, corporate maintenance and formation, corporate finance, licensing, and venture capital financing. The position will be responsible for coordinating, preparing and filing FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) beneficial owner report filings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Knowledge of:
Possess knowledge of general office policies, procedures and practices.
Familiarity with federal, state, and county forms regarding corporations and partnerships and the filing procedures.
A working knowledge of profit sharing and pension plans, stock options, deferred compensation, incentive compensation plans and insurance programs.
Have previous experience and knowledge of legal requirements and forms necessary for amendments, withdrawals, mergers and dissolutions of corporations or partnerships.
Legal terminology, as well as federal and state-specific procedures.
Legal industry, writing, language and spelling skills.
Skills & Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Adobe, and other litigation management applications, such as PACER, Relativity, Concordance, Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, etc. Must type 75+ wpm.
Produce documents using proper sentence structure, punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
Plan and organize workload to comply with established time constraints.
Work cooperatively with other employees and clients.
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Communicate verbally and in writing daily with employees and clients.
Compensation:
pay scale for this position is $80k-130k. , 401K, profit sharing and a full benefits package.
Location:
Downtown Los Angeles, this role currently offers a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
Pay Details:
$80,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
