Position Summary:The Cloud Engineer will configure and manage Clearway Health Microsoft and AWS Cloud tenants working in a remote setting. In this role, the Cloud Engineer will report to the Manager of Infrastructure Operations and collaborate with the Director of Application Development, and the VP, Information Technology to manage and support Clearway's Cloud Environment using best practices and industry standards.
As the Cloud Engineer, you will be a cornerstone in the evolution of Clearway Health's Cloud Infrastructure, embodying our drive towards a secure, efficient, and innovative cloud ecosystem. Your expertise will guide the deployment of Cloud services into our application architecture, ensuring a scalable and resilient infrastructure. Through your efforts, our infrastructure will not only meet today's needs but also anticipate the demands of tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Cloud applications including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Endpoint ManagerSupporting modern cloud applications leveraging AWS Services Suite to ensure scalability, reliability, and securityDevelop strategies for the adoption and rollout of new features and services within Clearway Health's cloud ecosystems.Perform day-to-day management of Cloud services, including administration of user accounts, permissions, and mailboxes.Ensure compliance with security standards and policies, including the management of data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) and integrate enterprise applications with Cloud and EntraIDMonitor system performance, identify potential issues, and optimize configurations for improved efficiency and security.Act as an escalation point for Cloud-related incidents and provide advanced troubleshooting support.Lead migration projects, develop migration plans, including data mapping, user communication, and minimizing downtime during transitions.Ensure M365 and AWS services comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) and internal security policies.Create and maintain technical documentation related to the M365 and AWS environments, including system configurations, procedures, and best practices.Provide training and technical support to end-users and internal teams on M365 services and new features.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).3-5 years of experience in IT administration, with at least 2 years specializing in Cloud or Office 365 environments.Proficient in M365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power).Intermediate in AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM, with a foundational understanding of services like VPC, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.Experience with M365 migrations, particularly with Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).Strong understanding of identity management, including Azure AD, Single Sign-On (SSO), and conditional access policies.Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, VPN, and firewalls.Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of M365 services.Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365, DLP policies, and security best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.Preferred Certifications:
