JOB DESCRIPTION The Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer III is expected to be an expert/subject matter expert in multiple facets of IT administration, including cloud and on-prem technology stacks. Additionally, exceptional interpersonal, communication, documentation, and customer service skills are expected. This role is crucial in maintaining and supporting systems that are integral to every business unit within the company. Any downtime or failure in these systems can lead to significant revenue loss, as they are essential for the seamless operation of various business functions. The Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer III will also be responsible for leading projects and mentoring junior team members. SCOPE OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Cloud and on-prem servers, desktops, laptops, tablets and virtual desktop environments; this includes provisioning, deprovisioning, backups and restores, troubleshooting, configuring, monitoring, patching, vulnerability remediation, and testing Cloud and on-prem network infrastructure including deployment for firewalls, routers, SSLVPN, switches, and wireless access points Cloud telephony platforms including RingCentral and Nice InContact Cloud-based identity management platforms including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Active Directory Mobile device management including Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune Device imaging including Microsoft Autopilot Microsoft 365 cloud technology stacks, including Exchange Online, Endpoint Manager, OneDrive, and Teams Domain management including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and SSL certificates Oversee endpoint deployments to ensure accuracy and consistency IT-owned inventory including hardware, resources, and applications Assist with disaster recovery efforts, including testing, training, and documentation Serve as a training and escalation resource (Tier III) for the IT Support Desk Team Manage and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment Investigate complex problems and identify root causes, test, implement, and document solutions Maintain current and accurate standard operating procedures Create and maintain meticulous documentation of technology systems Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the end-users on the network Send out company-wide notifications of IT-related maintenance and outages JOB REQUIREMENTS At least five to seven years of IT-related experience The candidate must possess at least a 2-year degree or equivalent technical training, along with relevant technical certifications Must be able to perform advanced IT-troubleshooting steps Must provide updates to management on outstanding tasks and projects on a regular basis Must be willing to travel to MCCU's branches and datacenters when necessary Must complete approved technical development training courses Must complete security awareness and required credit union training courses On occasion, may be asked to stay extended hours for IT maintenance or project-related work Must train ,develop and mentor junior IT staff Strong oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented Strong organizational and planning skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Provides friendly, prompt, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates Maintains a dependable record of attendance and timeliness Ability to learn the Credit Union's products and services Must adhere to best practices PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Advanced network and remote access connectivity (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, VPN, SDWAN) Fortinet (e.g., FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiNAC, FortiClient, FortiAuthenticator, etc.) Management of RingCentral and Nice InContact (or other CaSS/UCaSS solutions) Okta SSO & Microsoft Entra SSO PowerShell and Command Prompt Nerdio Azure Virtual Desktop Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS) Azure Active Directory Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune Microsoft Autopilot Microsoft Windows operating systems Microsoft M365 apps ManageEngine apps (e.g., ServiceDesk, Desktop Central, ADManager, etc.) Current industry-recognized certifications PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
