JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager is responsible for the project management services ECRS provides for Point-of-Sale rollouts to ensure that the customer implementation process runs efficiently and meets expectations. The Project Manager works as a liaison between the ECRS Sales, Deployment, Support, Services, Development, and Marketing departments and the customer. The Project Manager coordinates all installation-related activities for new and existing customers that require on-site and remote management including, but not limited to, database construction, credit card processing setup, register area preparation, and networking and power management.RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize introductory meetings with the Sales Executive and customer to understand and review the project once a signed contract and deposit are received.
Work with assigned customer accounts to determine goals and objectives.
Create and assign project issues with clear goals and associated target dates for each implementation task. These issues must be monitored and updated on a regular basis providing pressure and/or information as needed.
Create ECRS Support Desk issues as needed and monitor communication and updates until resolved during the installation process.
Schedule and coordinate meetings with the customers on a regular basis. Each meeting will require an agenda outlining the topics to be discussed as well as detailed action steps captured during the meeting and communicated prior to ending the meeting.
Work with the Deployment and Inventory departments to ensure that the equipment is pulled and staged in accordance with customer's requirements prior to shipment.
Assist with documenting specific customer requirements when new product enhancements are required.
Work with the Development and Sales teams to prepare estimates and specifications following the Contractual Commitment Corporate Policy. Manage timelines for contractual commitments and keeps customer informed.
Manage phased rollouts for multi-store sites that require multiple on-site visits for installation and training. Create projects plans in conjunction with Customer expectations.
Schedule onsite and/or remote resources to meet the implementation schedule. Update and report on project installation schedules on a weekly basis to reduce resource conflicts.
Conduct post-implementation project summary meetings with customers to review the process, project results, and customer satisfaction level with the project execution prior to closing each project.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two-year degree or equivalent prior experience.
Business or IT courses are a plus.
PMP Certification a plus.
Planning and project management experience.
Self-starter / self-motivated.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Extremely strong organizational skills.
Strong understanding of timeline commitments and deliverables.
Strong personal desire to produce high quality work.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with the flexibility to meet changing needs.
