Bring your energy, creativity, and desire to grow, and let's make magic happen together!THE JOB :The Small Groups & Celebration Sales Coordinator will provide administrative support through clerical duties, collecting and processing sensitive data (i.e., financials, credit card information), resolving guest issues, performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence both internal and external, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, meal appointments, and manage and maintain the schedules and workflow of Sales Executives. memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.THE STARTING PAY RATE:

$19.50 / Per HourTHE DAY-TO-DAY:Prepare and edit correspondences, communications, presentations, contract formatting, redlines, and updating systems to reflect contract terms and negotiated room ratesProcess reservations, invoices, billing information for accounting, confirmations, cancellations, special handling alerts, and amenities. Amenities could include but are not limited to site inspections, customer event weekends, and VIP staysArrange and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and meal appointments within the property or outside travelMonitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications via e-mail and phone in a timely mannerProvide guest service to internal employees, guests, and all customers of MGMRITHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:High School Diploma, GED or educational equivalentSix (6) months of previous administrative experiencePrevious experience with Group or Room Reservations, Front Desk and/or Guest Services in a similar resort settingExperience working with Delphi, LMS, Tripleseat and Easy Post programsBasic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e., telephone, copier, and fax machineExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groupsFree meals in our Cosmopolitan employee dining roomFree parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts propertiesWellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts
