What You’ll Do

:The Senior Manager, Immuno-Oncology Marketing, will be responsible for the planning and execution of portions of the GU commercial strategy including building new capabilities as needed. This role will work collaboratively with cross functional partners to implement robust market shaping activities to drive commercial success across our GU franchise. This role will require leading and collaborating with both internal and external customers.This position will report into the marketing team and is primarily based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the Oncology Business Unit.Key Responsibilities:Lead implementation of HCP personal, congress, and peer-to-peer marketing strategies in the US market for GU indications, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy as well as regulatory, legal and complianceSupport the creation of both branded and unbranded HCP campaign strategies to support key education initiatives with a focus on opportunities that enable us to orchestrate our campaigns across channels and functionsLead field input and engagement to inform promotional messaging, tools, and resourcesManage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related project budgets - including timely operations (e.g. POs, invoices, etc.)Collaborate with peer indication leads across the US to ensure strategic alignment and executional pull-throughCollaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiativesAssist in the identification, evaluation, and adoption of new partnerships and technologiesQualifications:Minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree in relevant field3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planningExperience with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) regulations, reviews and processesPrior in-line HCP marketing experienceExperience building and integrating new capabilities that are relevant for brand successPreferred qualificationsMBA in relevant fieldOncology or specialty care experienceProduct launch experience preferredExperience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Peer to Peer)Customer facing experienceSkillsExcellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex constructsOutstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners, agency partners and budgetsAbility to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and projectsStrong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issuesExperience working closely with field sales organizations to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impactAbility to lead without authorityHigh capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically and operating effectively in a rapidly evolving and competitive market placeHigh ethical standards and personal integrityAt AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity no matter how small, can be the start of something big. 28,834.40- $ 193,251.60.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple in dividualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity and eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
