We are currently recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join our Chicago team with an office located in Schiller Park, IL. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be accountable for supporting the company in bringing the capabilities of STRUCTURAL to various markets. You will collaborate with our Business Development (BDM) staff, Technologies and Operations teams to support day-to-day efforts developing solutions that meet the needs of our valued clients.

Responsibilities for this unique role include, but are not limited to:

Participate in web-based meetings, in person meetings, emails, and phone calls with STRUCTURAL current and potential clients, to provide technical support tobusiness development efforts.

Work closely with in-house Estimators and BDM teams to assist in reviewing design/build estimates and developing proposals.

Draft and support development of technical packages for submission on projects and for internal discussions.

Participate in project review calls in support ofBDM efforts

Work with the engineering team to develop repair solutions that can be executed in efficient and timely manner.

Draft summaries of projects for use as case histories on website as well as abstracts for submission to technical conferences.

Analyze data to facilitate repair solution development with engineering, project management and construction teams.

Assist in coordinating and participate in review of deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and written reports.

Facilitate and participate in assessment and design presentation of findings for both customer and internal review

Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions while working with internal contracts teams as needed

Develop and manage integrated schedules in collaboration with engineering, project management, and field leadership.

Drive and communicateproject schedules, progress, and completion to ensure all parties are aware of milestones and expectations.

Maintain profit & loss responsibility as well as other project financials including projections, invoicing, etc.

Provide strong leadership and supervision to project teams (including other Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and field crews) and subcontractors.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Demonstrate dedication to safety and quality control on all projects.

Travel expectation is 25%

Preference may be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field of study.

3+ years of experience in a professional environment related in civil/structural engineering or construction industries.

Strong understanding of sales functions, procedures, and standards along with structural and civil engineering concepts and practices.

Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization internally as well as externally with partner agencies and customers.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent documentation and organizational skills

Ability to work within the Protected Area (PA) of Nuclear Plants with unescorted access.

Possess the ability to pass all training and background requirements for Nuclear Plant access.

Proficient in Microsoft applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
