This role’s primary ongoing responsibility is for management of projects. The position focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, and project participants. May or may not have direct reports. The role spends significant time on project management responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:

Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope including managing the change control process

Sets and manages client expectations

Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to customer

Understands how and when to make a choice; how and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Analyzes the risks and future impact of decisions

Makes decisions and takes timely independent action in pursuit of priorities

Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards

Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures

Minimizes our exposure and risk on project

Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

Complies with and helps to enforce standard Project Management policies and procedures

Project Accounting / Financial Management

Analyzes project profitability and revenue including variances from plan

Ensures timely and accurate invoicing

Understands our pricing model and billing procedures

Assures project legal documents are completed and signed

Manages day-to-day client interaction

Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively

Holds regular status meetings with project team

Keeps project team well informed of changes within the project and with events impacting the customer

Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors

Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations

Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely manner

Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Identifies business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to projects

Effectively conveys our message in both written and verbal business development discussions

Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster customer ties

Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships

Builds a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, and objectives

Maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information

Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design

Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server and .NET architectures

Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities

Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on projects

Meet service level expectations and exceed them when appropriate to the pursuit of larger customer relationship goals

Contribute to SitusAMC brand image objectives through Customer interactions. Always put the customer first

Use published content and team of experts’ approach to clarify complex problems, ideas, and solutions using verbal and written skills effectively

Awareness and ability to respond effectively in settings where multiple agendas, goals may exist

Help the customer by listening to their issues and being clear in describing solutions

Enthusiasm and energy focused on execution of plans, achievement of goals, overcoming obstacles in completing work to generate revenue

Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member’s contributions

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related or Business field preferred or equivalent combination of education or experience

Entry level professional with 0-2 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred

Must be very customer oriented with the mind set of always serving the customer

The ability to present ideas and solutions to customers in a clear and understandable way that provides customers with the answers and solutions they are seeking from SitusAMC

Ability to see the end goal and work through the obstacles and distractions to get the desired outcome

Ability to organize and perform work assignments and commitments on time with little supervision and with a high level of quality

Ability to always make a positive impression to customers and colleagues in the way a person handles themselves, their dress, and their verbal and written presentation style

Ability and mental toughness to accept difficult problems and effectively create resolutions in an acceptable timeframe and using a quality method

Ability to properly balance the need to provide excellent customer service with the need to always maintain profitability within the customer relationship

Ability to complete the assigned role in a way that inspires others rather than creating an atmosphere of doubt and disillusionment

Ability to effectively complete a designed role so that others who depend upon that role, including customers, and not disadvantaged

It also includes sometimes going beyond the current role to do whatever task is required in order for the team to get the expected outcome

The genuine desire to want to work with and help people with both simple and complex problems

Good conceptual understanding of technology especially as it relates to the tools used by SitusAMC and its customers

Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel, and Microsoft Project

An understanding of Banking and Finance

Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems before they become major issues

Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining attention to detail

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work in stressful situations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to interact with Management

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$59,000.00 - $120,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
