Our Building Specialty Services (BSS) group is one of the fastest growing service offerings at our organization that includes a diverse mix of professionals with practical design, field, and industry research and product development expertise. This group is able to seek the best projects with the best clients because they deliver expertise that empower designers to create high performing buildings without compromising budget or function.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist writing proposals and establishing financial budgets
Assist with project document reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions
Assist with review and report on project mock-ups
Assist with performance of periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
Assist with performance of field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
Assist in small project management and coordination
Participate in continuing education
Periodic out of state travel
Perform various office related tasks

Education and Experience
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
General knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus
Experience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plus

Benefits Summary:

In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
