Our Building Specialty Services (BSS) group is one of the fastest growing service offerings at our organization that includes a diverse mix of professionals with practical design, field, and industry research and product development expertise. Your Key Responsibilities
Assists in writing proposals and establishing financial budgets
Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussions
Reviews and reports on project mock-ups
Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
Assists in small project management and coordination
Assists in building condition assessments, concrete restoration, and building enclosure related projects
Participates in continuing education
Performs various office related tasks
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
General knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus
Experience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plus
Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong customer service commitment
Excellent communication and written skills in English
Professional attitude with a strong commitment to succeed
Strong work ethic
Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Each offer will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, future potential, education, skills, and internal equity. Benefits Summary:
Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
