Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Sales Coordinator is on the front lines in assuring our residents feel loved from first point of contact and through the entire lifecycle. Sales Specialists are empowered to guarantee a positive and fluid experience by working to save our customers' most valuable commodity, time. This especially skilled person is core to the day-to-day organization of the leasing department by qualifying leads, scheduling tours, assisting with applications, and helping to close prospects on the highest net rent. Sales Coordinators are also responsible for assisting the team with reports, collecting application materials from prospects, answering phone calls, and making sure all functions of the team are supported.
This is an in-person position located in downtown Seattle, WA. Weekend availability on Saturday and Sunday is required.
What You'll Do:
Uphold Sentral's standards, best practices, policies and procedures, and value of excellence in customer serviceEstablish rapport with residents and guests so they always feel lovedOversee the daily leasing responsibilities of the community in accordance with company policies and standardsOversee and coordinate welcoming new residents and guestsAssist with office management and clerical tasksRecord and update details of prospective residents, current residents, and guests in the property management software in a timely and detailed mannerComplete opening and closing proceduresComplete lease applications and assist with verification of application information; inform prospective residents of resultsInform maintenance team of any need for repair or cleaningMaintain and store documentation effectivelyLiaise with residents and guests to provide information and address their questions and concernsAdvertise available homes and conduct property tours as part of marketing activitiesMaintain Availability List and Status Report, determine the termination date of lease rentalsConduct market analysis, prepare market surveys, and shop competitive communitiesPrepare leasing activity reports and market survey reports on a regular basis for submission to corporate and ownership groupsEnsure that follow-up telephone calls are made to all qualified unclosed traffic within 24 hoursProvide backup for Experience team and homeshare efforts related to guest check-ins and outsAssist Marketing Department in organizing and creating resident functions and newslettersAccept rent payments, security deposits and other applicable feesFollow all local, city and federal regulationsMaintain compliance with Fair Housing requirements and all applicable laws, codes and ordinancesOwn the move in experience for our future residents to include updating property spreadsheets and communicating outstanding move in itemsManage the booking of guest suites & coordinate turnover with Experience Team and Maintenance to ensure readiness and successful check-insConduct New Resident Orientations as neededPerform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferredExperience in a customer service-related industry, specifically sales or apartment leasing experience (lease-up experience preferred), or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experienceKnowledge of established leasing practices and proceduresWillingness to participate in training in order to comply with new or existing lawsFamiliarity and competence with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel skills highly preferred.Excellent scheduling and calendar management skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsMust possess strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skillsDemonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problemAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsSentral Benefits
