Position Overview and Responsibilities
At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. Ideal candidates will exemplify a can-do attitude, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial drive. Successful candidates will be proactive, solution-oriented, and have strong ownership of their work. The Sales Manager is tasked with the direct oversight of all leasing activity at the property. This role is also responsible to ensure our customers feel loved from the first point of contact and through the entire lifecycle. The Sales Manager is charged with setting the framework that allows the team to feel empowered and guarantees a positive and fluid experience by working to save our customers' most valuable commodity, time.
This is an in-person position located on-site of the property.
What You'll Do:
Uphold Sentral's standards, best practices, policies and procedures, and value of excellence in customer serviceEstablish rapport with residents and guests so they always feel lovedEngage in daily leasing huddles, discussing leasing goals, host recruitment, prioritizing available units, and soliciting feedback to stay on top of game!Continually provide feedback on all opportunities for improvementEnsure accuracy of content and reporting provided by leasing teamDisplay solid understanding of reasons for not leasing on each prospect - report out for supportActively participate in each tour (virtual, self-guided) by making introductions and double closingProvide oversight and coordination of welcoming new residents, and assist with office management and clerical tasksServe as backup to concierge team and homeshare efforts related to guest check-ins and outsRecord and update details of prospective residents, current residents, and guests into the property management software in a timely and detailed mannerAssist in opening and closing procedures and ensure they are completedInform maintenance team of any need for repair or cleaningAdvertise available homes and conduct property tours as part of marketing activitiesComplete lease applications and assist with verification of application information; inform prospective residents of resultsLiaise with residents and guests to provide information and address their questions and concernsMaintain and store documentation effectivelyAccept rent payments, security deposits and other applicable feesFollow all local, city and federal regulationsAssist in conducting market surveys and shop competitive communitiesPerform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferredManagement/employee development experienceSuccess in Leasing environmentProficiency with Yardi, CRM, Rent Caf.Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Strong knowledge of operations with budget formulationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA drive towards high-performance sales and a passion to be first in classAnalytically minded with the ability to swiftly pivot when market or team dynamic changesMust possess strong attention to detail, leadership skills and sales abilityDemonstrated ability to lead teamsStrong oral and written communication skillsGreat time management skillsComputer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication toolsMust be willing to participate in training in order to comply with new or existing lawsDemonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problemAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
