Position Description:
The Quality Assurance Supervisor leads initiatives to improve product quality and business productivity throughout the organization. Primary responsibilities include supervision of the site quality assurance team, identifying, prioritizing, and implementing improvement opportunities to support business and customer requirements, overseeing software development testing, and assuring compliance to
ISO 9001:2015
requirements.
General Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Supervisor:Collaborate across all departments to create a culture of quality and continuous improvementPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports associated with operational performance and product qualityPrepare, schedule, and conduct internal audits to assess conformance to ISO 9001Develop processes to properly determine nonconformance root causes and implementation of effective corrective/preventive actionsDevelop and communicate quality control trainingDevelop and implement solutions to improve product quality and operational efficiency in support of business strategic objectivesInterface with internal and external customers on quality related issuesEnsure the Quality Department is properly staffed and trainedOversee processing and tracking of Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)Manage software development testing and reportingPerform other related duties and serve on special projects as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum 5 years' experience in technical product quality assuranceMinimum 5 years' experience with the ISO 9000 family of quality management systemsMinimum 3 years of supervisory experienceAbility to work productively in cross functional teams in both leadership and support positionsThorough knowledge of logistics and electronic assembly operationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperiences in Quality Management Systems, processes, and reportingKnowledge and experience in technical aspects of software testingExperience in training company personnel on quality procedures and requirementsAbility to work under high pressure situations and deadlinesMust be able to simultaneously manage several objectives and reassign priorities as neededAbility to inspire, motivate and influence diverse teams
Education and/or Experience:
Associates degreeISO Lead Auditor training preferredQuality Engineer Certification (CQE) preferredIPC-A-600 Training Certificate (CIT) preferredExperience in electronics is preferred

Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 4 hoursWalking: Throughout the facility on a continuous basisLifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift 35 lbs.Climbing: Must be able to climb stairs and laddersVision: Corrected 20/20 vision requiredTalking/Hearing: Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and video conference

Warehouse environment, occasionally hot or cold temperatures, moderate noise level, occasional dust, chemical odors
