The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, development, maintenance, coordination and implementation of the Quality Business System in assigned facility. The incumbent will apply knowledge of quality systems and interact with/and provide guidance to functional managers, engineers, and operators in order to meet quality requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates, maintains, and distributes documentation according to the requirements of the Quality Manual, Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001 and other related standards.Assist managers and supervisors in the implementation, review, and training of Quality System documentation and the related processes.Troubleshoot electronic boards, input data into Pareto charts, and pinpoint the fundamental root causes.Assist in preparation for management reviews, internal audits, and 3rd party audits.Generate work orders for internal rework processes, as well as coordinating the rework requirements with the engineering technician.Maintain and control Quality Business System records, applicable regulatory documents, and documents of external origin.Manage and process RMA. Process and monitor corrective actions, Internal Audits (customer and internal) for resolution and effectiveness. Maintain documentation of corrective and preventive action activities.Plan, manage and conduct internal audits and serve as a Lead or Internal Auditor.Provide ongoing support for the effective implementation and improvement of the Quality Business System.Adheres to and maintains quality, environmental and safety systems or maintenance of quality, environmental and safety standards.REQUIREMENTSProficient knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality standards applicable to the site.Experience working with a SMT manufacturer, high mix/ low volume.Good communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.Proficient knowledge of computers.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of two years experience in SMT environmentTwo years experience creating and maintaining documentation according to the ISO 9001 standard.
