We are seekinga Technical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of the company's advanced engine control and monitoring systems to the marine and industrial sectors. The role involves working closely with customers to understand their technical needs and providing solutions that align with the company's product offerings. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, developing relationships, and closing deals while providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle.
*Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities*
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipbuilders, fleet operators, marine engineers, and industrial customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to educate clients on the benefits and functionality of products.
* Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into future product designs and enhancements.
* Provide pre-sales technical consultation, including system configuration advice, technical specifications, and application solutions.
* Collaborate with the service and support teams to ensure smooth post-sale transitions, including installation assistance and after-sales service.
* Identify new market opportunities and maintain a pipeline of prospects, actively pursuing leads and closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in marine and industrial control systems.
*Technical Sales Representative Position Requirements*
* Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the marine electronics industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Travel: 80%
