PROGRAM ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BRANCH of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF. Responsibilities You will perform analysis and advisory assignments related to the effectiveness of programs and/or efficiency of the management operations. You will serve as the procurement technical expert on GCPC and micro-purchase procedures and policy. You will be responsible for reviewing proposed policy changes, evaluating implications and providing recommendations. You will conduct studies of administrative and managerial processes and procedures to assess and refine productivity. You will conduct audits to determine compliance as well as efficiency and effectiveness of operating practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and fact-finding techniques to assess programs inefficiencies and prepare narrative reports containing a statement of the issue or problem, background, observation, options for change, and recommendations for action. For GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and fact-finding techniques by gathering and analyzing data or information to identify problems and recommend solutions for assigned program.
