Overview

The Manager of Communications & Branding will work closely with inpatient rehabilitation hospital leaders to manage day-to-day communications needs for multiple hospitals, as assigned. Responsibilities include managing content related to print collateral, websites, social media, digital marketing, among other duties outlined below. This team member will also play a key role in contributing to and supporting overall inpatient rehabilitation hospital division communications and branding initiatives.

The manager of Communications & Branding will successfully execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns, both print and digital, working closely with the following teams within the Communications & Branding department: Creative Services (graphic design) Digital Communications (web, social media, digital advertising, analytics) Editorial Services (writing, editing) Select Studio (video, photo, audio)

Candidates must possess strategic thinking, strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly solutions- and customer service-focused. Additionally, this individual should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is forward-thinking and has a proven track record in managing large brands shaped by creative strategies and data-driven insights. This position is located in Mechanicsburg, PA. The team works a hybrid schedule three days a week in the office, and two days a week working from home.

Responsibilities

Brand Management: Maintain brand standards and integrity across all print and digital materials. Digital Marketing: Manage messaging across websites, social media and e-marketing campaigns. Marketing Collateral: Draft all marketing content and collaborate with Creative and Editorial Services teams to produce materials. Patient Stories: Partner with field to collect and write patient success stories; work with Select Studio team to coordinate video shoots, as appropriate. Advertising: Manage content strategy within allocated budget designated by division leadership. Joint Venture Partner Relations: Work with joint venture partner communications counterparts for review/approvals on communications- and branding-related projects and needs. Community: Create promotional and marketing content to support community events.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or public relations required. 5+ years of experience with proven track record of successfully developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns, both print and digital. Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and qualitative abilities. Ability to juggle and manage multiple projects with a high sense of urgency. Deadline oriented. Collaborative work style with ability to effectively interact with department colleagues, senior management across the organization and communications counterparts with joint venture partners. Preferred: Hands-on strategic and tactical experience with all social media platforms required; experience with Google Analytics, Sitecore and Workfront a plus. Experience in health care and/or at an agency a plus.
