Position Description
As a Senior Program Manager, your role will be to form and lead cross-functional teams, working independently, to launch and complete multiple complex New Product Development (NPD) and Operational Improvement programs following the NPD process, as well as other strategic programs.
You will do this by:
Forming and leading product development teams to complete multiple and/or complex new product development or operational efficiency programsWorking with business unit leaders to scope programs at the Project Initiation stage and during the AOP/LRP planning cyclesAdhering to the new product development process and provides suggestions and content to continuously improve itDeveloping and maintaining capital and expense budgetsBeing accountable for project schedules; developing creative solutions to ensure timelines are metCommunicating with internal and external customers regarding program statusPreparing and presenting information and presentations for NPD Gate Review meetings and Executive Project Leadership Review meetingsResearching and implementing best practices for program managementLeading and mentoring Program Managers and provides guidance to other company employees (example: Associate Product Managers and Manufacturing/Industrial Engineers) on process and best practicesServing as an advisor to other company personnel on using the process to lead small or BU specific projectsPerforming other duties assignedYou are the type of person who is/has:
Ability to prepare and present complex technical information to executive personnelAdvanced understanding of financial principles including EBITDA and Return On Investment conceptsExcellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse groups of peopleStrong ability to lead through influence with limited direct authorityAbility to form, work with and lead a team of diverse individuals in a variety of fieldsExcellent organizational and planning skillsExcellent problem solving facilitation skills - guiding teams through issues throughout the project and driving decisions to be made with sound data in a timely fashionExpert project management skills including timeline development and tracking, open issue resolution and waterfall/stage-gate NPD process flow.Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
Minimum of seven years of related experience

May require travel of a planned or urgent nature, both international and domestic
