JOB DESCRIPTION:SUMMARY OF POSITIONImplement and expand existing and establish new access points for substance use disorder (SUD)/opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment, recovery, and supportive services in Brown, Owen, Scott, Jackson, Jennings, Jefferson, and Lawrence counties, in Indiana. Improve access to integrated, coordinated treatment and recovery services for substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD), in rural areas. Ultimately, RCORP-Impact aims to address the SUD/ OUD crisis in rural communities and promote long-term, sustained recovery. Establishing and expanding comprehensive SUD treatment and recovery services where such services are limited. Recruiting, hiring, orienting, and training a multidisciplinary SUD workforce, including peers and clinical providers, with diverse scopes of practice responsive to population needs. Directly providing and expanding/establishing linkages with local supportive social service (e.g., food access; employment coaching; housing supports). Developing an innovative, multi-sectoral sustainability plan (e.g., coordination with funding mechanisms, insurance enrollment, effective billing) to ensure services continue beyond the funding period. Will assist with coordinating and preparing, (written or electronic) reports to HRSA as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary and matrix supervisory responsibilities for all individuals associated with the grant. Recruiting, hiring, orienting, and training a multidisciplinary SUD workforce, including peers and clinical providers, with diverse scopes of practice responsive to population needs.Works closely with Project Director (PD) on grant development, implementation and accountability to all grant outcomes. Includes working closely with PD on the budget and reporting requirements.Works closely with Centerstone Research Institute to gather, analyze and report outcome data to (Federal Office of Rural Health Policy) HRSA.Establish and expand comprehensive SUD treatment and recovery services where such services are limited.Directly providing and expanding/establishing linkages with local supportive social service (e.g., food access; employment coaching; housing supports).Developing an innovative, multi-sectoral sustainability plan (e.g., coordination with funding mechanisms, insurance enrollment, effective billing) to ensure services continue beyond the funding period.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEffectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.Understands opioid use disorders/ substance use and co-occurring disorders.Has a working knowledge of medications that assist with treatment.Understands the importance of working with community partners including the Department of Child Services and Criminal Justice Providers.Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software applications,The ability to work independently, as a member of a team, and to work efficiently under deadlines.QUALIFICATIONSEducation LevelBachelor's Degree or 4 years of experience in program implementation/ development, program supervision and oversight required.Years of ExperienceExperience with managing a program budget preferred.Certification/LicensureN/APHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStanding - 20%Sitting - 80%Squatting - OccasionalKneeling - OccasionalBending - OccasionalDriving - OccasionalLifting - OccasionalDISCLAIMERThe duties and responsibilities described in this document are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time, or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.Time Type:Full time
