Security Manager
in the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). This critical role will help empower the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. You will serve a s a member of a team providing combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related successes and threats. You will serve as the Industrial Security subject matter expert and support the Program Manager in contract execution.
ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative processing of contractor personnel and contractor access to Defense Information System for Security (DISS) (formerly known as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS))Develop and submit contractor facility and equipment security accreditation packagesParticipate in contractor security-related assessments and evaluationsReview, track, and monitor contractor security clearance processing activities with appropriate Government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actionsAdvise contractor staff on proper document profiling and customization, markings, and dissemination, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) proceduresQualifications
Current DoD issued Security ClearanceBA/BS and 5+ yrs of relevant experiencePrior experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailPreferred Qualifications
Certification such Facility Manager Credential or industry equivalentAbility to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment
