Job Summary:

Consultant Advisor - ERP Michael Cooper is recruiting this position.

Our East Coast healthcare provider is seeking an Enterprise Application Support Consultant to provide technical and application support, demonstrate competent IT literacy, and has the ability to support the technology and applications in the functional areas (Clinical, Business Applications, Financial and Infrastructure Applications) the person in this role is responsible for the on-going support at level 2. This is a remote, contract to hire role looking to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

Designs information flow and content solutions for existing systems and advises on database concepts and functional capabilities in order to translate business requirements into environment specific databases.Coordination, utilization and administration of InterSystems IRIS relational databases and other file organization and access methods running the InterSystems Ensemble software including the Ensemble IRIS database/integration engine.Help to document both existing and new systems and processesResearch new technologies and products in considerationAssist with planning, implementation and monitor backups.Assist in the designing of information flow and content solutions for existing systems to structure and access databases.Advises on database concepts and functional capabilities and submits recommendations for solutions.Help to monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users and recommends corrective actions to ensure data security.Help to implement data restore and recovery plans and procedures to protect and continue data system and database activities that support broader emergency or disaster recovery plans.List of Additional/New Duties & Responsibilities:Provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to less-experienced individuals.Participates in the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to data management, maintenance, and utilization.Coordinates installation of revised or new systems.Qualifications:

A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; andFive (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and application OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceOperations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques
